Doctrinal Statement

The Holy Scriptures

We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God to men. Divinely inspired, infallible, and without any error.

The Scriptures are God’s love letter to reveal Himself to men. To present creation’s history with man as the pinnacle. His fall and God’s plan of reconciliation to Him through His plan of salvation. Culminating in the arrival of the Messiah.

The Word of God reveals His perfect holiness and expectations for man’s behaviour.


We believe in One God. Eternally existing in a compound unity (Echad) as Father, Son Yeshua (Jesus) and Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). With distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

The infinite God is spirit and is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Perfect in holiness and all other characteristics.

God the Father

God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the course of human history according to the purposes of His grace. He is all powerful, all loving, and all wise.

God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Yeshua the Messiah. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all men.

God the Son

We believe in Messiah Yeshua. God manifest in the flesh. His virgin birth conceived by the Ruach HaKodesh. His sinless human life. His divine miracles. His atoning death on the cross where He took the punishment for the sins of mankind.

His resurrection from the dead in His glorified body, His ascension to glory being seated at the right hand of the Father, His intercession on behalf of the believer and His personal return in power and glory to reign from Jerusalem on the Throne of David in the Millennial Kingdom.

God the Holy Spirit

The Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) is the Spirit of God. He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. Through illumination He enables men to understand truth. He exalts Messiah. He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He calls men to the Saviour, and effects regeneration. He cultivates godly character, comforts believers, and bestows the spiritual gifts by which they serve God through His Assembly. He seals the believer unto the day of final redemption. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the Body of Messiah in worship, evangelism, and service.


Man was created by the special act of God, in His own image, and is the crowning work of His creation. Man has intrinsic value to God. In the beginning man was innocent of sin and was endowed by His Creator with freedom of choice. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race.

Through the temptation of Satan man transgressed the command of God, and fell from his original innocence; whereby his posterity inherit a nature and an environment inclined toward sin, and as soon as they are capable of moral action become transgressors and are under condemnation. Only the grace of God can bring man into His holy fellowship and enable man to fulfill the creative purpose of God. Because of the intrinsic value man has to God, regardless of where they spend eternity, man will live forever.


Salvation is offered to anyone who freely accepts Yeshua as Lord and Saviour. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of God’s grace whereby believers become new creatures in Messiah Yeshua. It is a change of heart wrought by the Ruach HaKodesh through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance toward God and faith in the Yeshua the Messiah. Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences of grace.

Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward God. Faith is the acceptance of Yeshua the Messiah and commitment of the entire personality to Him as Lord and Saviour. Justification is God’s gracious and full acquittal upon principles of His righteousness of all sinners who repent and believe in Messiah. Justification brings the believer into a relationship of peace and favor with God.


Sanctification is the experience, beginning in regeneration, by which the believer is set apart to God’s purposes, and is enabled to progress toward moral and spiritual perfection through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him. God’s perfect standard of righteousness is revealed in the 613 commands of Torah and Yeshua is the full embodiment of that righteousness. As we are being conformed to His image, we more resemble God in our character and less our old selves who were separated from God by sin.

We become more holy or separate from the world and its system. Although it is the Ruach who sanctifies us through His regenerating power, it occurs in response to when we walk in obedience to God’s commands. If we continue to reject God’s righteousness and live as we formerly did, then the Holy Spirit is limited in the change He brings about in our lives. Growth in grace and holiness should continue throughout the regenerate person’s life.


At the time of death or the rapture, the believer leaves his body and goes to be with God forever. We then enter into a perfect state, uncontaminated by the world or sin and we will be like Yeshua forever.

The Resurrection

We believe that since all people are created in the image of God and have intrinsic value, all will live forever. Every person, whether regenerated or not will be resurrected from the dead and receive an eternal body; some to everlasting life in heaven with God and some to eternal separation from God in torment in the lake of fire.

Each will be judged according to his deeds. The believer will be judged to receive rewards while the unbeliever will be judged to receive condemnation.

The Millennium

At the end of the tribulation period, Yeshua returns to earth to establish His 1000 year reign from Jerusalem. The Anti-Christ and the False prophet are thrown into the lake of fire, Satan is bound in the bottomless pit for a 1000 years. The remnant of Israel will be delivered from destruction and there will be peace on earth as Yeshua rules with His saints. At the end of the 1000 years, Satan is released from his prison to deceive the nations once more and a last rebellion of mankind against God occurs.

God’s enemies are then destroyed, Satan is cast into the lake of fire, the Great White Throne of Judgment occurs where the unbelievers are resurrected to their judgment and then God destroys creation and makes a new heaven and new earth where the redeemed will dwell with God for eternity.


The nation of Israel is God’s covenant people. God chose Abraham to make a nation out of that He would reveal Himself to through special revelation (the Scriptures). Israel was to obey these commands, be blessed and then take the knowledge of God to the entire world.

The Jewish people are also the ones through whom the Messiah was to come through. God’s covenants with Israel are eternal and upon Yeshua’s return, He will rule and reign from His throne in Jerusalem for 1000 years.

The Assembly

We believe the Body of Messiah (the Church) comprises of anyone who has believed, whether Jew or Gentile, throughout all history. It is a separate entity from the nation of Israel. The local assembly or congregation is a group of believers who associate by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, who have similar vision and values. They are committed to Messiah’s teachings, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seek to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Although the local assembly is run by men, it operates under the Lordship of Yeshua the Messiah.
